This Year Is A 10!

December 20th, 2007 -- Posted in Uncategorized | No Comments »

On a scale of one to ten, this year is a ten, so it’s already at the top of the chart. According to my own personal style of numerology, that is.

The science of numerology is based on reducing a series of large numbers to the base number by adding them all up until you arrive at a number that’s one digit. business 2+0+0+8= 1.

Each number has meaning, which can vary a little or a lot according to the numerology experts you happen to use as your resources.

Last year reduced to a nine, which almost all numerologists will agree means “completion”. This year reduces to a one which most agree means “beginning”, or “new beginning” for those who dwell in the Department of Redundancy Department.

However, I’m in favor of stepping back one reduction simone perele keeping this year’s number at 10. Here’s why.

Years ago I was given some information by one or more of my sources of Higher Wisdom about the energy of numbers. I was downloaded the meaning of the numbers from one to nine as it relates to the vibration of each of them.

In my Tarot readings I found this information to greatly enhance the meaning of the various cards. However, one number was missing. Whenever this number showed up in a reading I had difficulty trying to relate it to the information I was given regarding the energy of numbers.

It’s the number ten.

I kept questioning, “If nine is the number of completion, and one is the number of beginning, where does ten fit in? What can it possibly mean?”

Finally, one day I was given the meaning of ten. At first I scoffed, thinking it was so simple that it was stupid. However, as I mused about this information, I became more and more in awe at how profound it was.

The first thing I was told is that ten is binary code - the basic code that computer language is based on. 1 is on and 0 is off.

“Hah! Real profound!” I scoffed.

Then I received further information which was astounding in its simplicity and profundity.

The 1 represents the energy of moving forward, of being “on”. The 0 represents the energy of stopping, of the energy being “off”. Together they represent the choice of movement or of staying in place.

Thus the 10 brings awareness of a specific opportunity of choice. Will you choose to move forward and begin a new learning process?

Or will you choose to return to that portion of learning which you recently completed (represented by the 9) and experience it again? Perhaps this time from a different perspective or with different players in order to gain even deeper, more profound learning.

Are you complete with what you learned in 2007, the year of 9 energy? Are you ready to move into a different learning experience?

Or is there something that’s not quite complete for you? Another facet of the learning experience perhaps?

It’s a 10 year and you have the marvelous opportunity to choose!

Grandparents - Supporting Your Children by Not Assuming Responsibility for Your Grandchildren

December 16th, 2007 -- Posted in Uncategorized | No Comments »

Grandparents, after raising their own families, often find themselves in the role of rearing their grandchildren too. Economics, lack of other supports and guilt sometimes ‘force’ grandparents into being nurturers indefinitely.

Understanding Your Role as Parent

The natural order of bags is for children to move on and become independent of their parents. A parent’s job is to empower children with the skills they need to carve out their own path. Your children are responsible for their children. Too much involvement from grandparents, which may come from a place of love, is not necessarily the gift it appears to be.

Impact of Being Very Involved in Raising your Grandchildren

When grandparents take a significant role in minding grandchildren it does have consequences for the new family.

  • Too much involvement can interfere with the couple’s relationship. Young couples need space for their relationship away from their parents. This is a clothing important part of the process of coming into their own power as parents and establishing their own rhythm and values.
  • When grandparents participate in the day to day provision for their grandchildren the subtle message children hear is that they can’t manage alone. However, it is in the very process of taking on new responsibilities that we discover our resources and abilities to deal with situations.
  • Over-involvement often results in resentment on both sides as children really want to be independent of parents and parents desire to be free of responsibility of their children.

In this situation everybody’s growth is thwarted.

Supporting your Family

Loving your children includes handing over the reins so that they can live their own lives. You can do it. They can do it. And in the long run, it will prove to be powerful contribution to them, to their relationship and to your grandchildren.

4 Important Keys of Effective Communication

December 5th, 2007 -- Posted in Uncategorized | No Comments »

There are four aspects of effective communication. Remember, not all communication is verbal. Actions, facial expressions, and posture all communicate a message. Some people unknowingly send the wrong message.

1. Discretion.

The dictionary defines discretion as being careful about what one says or does, or the ability lips keep silent; regulated by one’s own choice. Discretion is a choice. It is a quality that you develop and master, becoming more discrete as you practice. Keeping quiet is the best way to practice. Talking too much is very destructive. High achievers have learned to guard their conversation carefully, knowing when to speak and when not to speak, what to say and what not to say.

2. Active Listening.

It is nearly always more profitable to listen than it is to speak. A good listener may hear something that will add to his collection of knowledge. Be attentive to what others say. You practice active listening by mentally repeating what the other party says a moment after he says it. You will stay alert and grasp the details of the conversation. This takes practice, but soon it will become a part of your everyday conversation.

3. Clarity.

Be clear with your words. Whenever you attempt to present an idea or the progress of a project, prepare what you say. Be clear, concise, and candid in every conversation. Allow your boss’s questions to carry on the conversation rather than your presentation.

4. Gain Understanding.

Don’t leave the conversation until you understand what is expected of you. Don’t feel unprofessional for asking your boss to explain what he wants from you. Write it down. This shows him that you are interested in doing what he says. Gaining a deeper and more clear understand will greatly enhance the final product.

Learning to communicate is crucial in the workplace environment. These are just four main aspects of effective communication. There are many more, but the point is to know with whom you are communicating. Everyone needs to be communicated with differently. Always ask yourself: How will they receive what I am trying to say? Step into their shoes, then make the decision to communicate or not.

Also, your body language consists of nearly 70% of all communication. How you posture greatly determines how yours words are received. This is a skill you must learn if you want to communicate effectively.

Take Action:

1. In what ways can you be more discrete?

2. How would you rate yourself on a scale of 1 to 10 as an effective listener? What can you do to improve your rating?

3. Always try to step into the shoes of those you are speaking with. Ask yourself, how will this effect them emotionally?

Make Money

December 2nd, 2007 -- Posted in Uncategorized | No Comments »

Sounds easy…Make Money…then why is it then that so many people have such a hard time doing this simple thing?

Or do they?

In one way or another, everyone does make money and marriage some cases, some people have money made for them.

Money made for them?

We look at people that are “feeding off the system” or they are “on welfare” or “social assistance” and feel that they are just sponging off of society, right?

What if this was actually very close to a millionaires mindset?

WHAT?

Yea!

Here is the thing, the difference and the only difference is that millionaires are giving more service and as a result, they are being compensated by society.

So it would then stand to reason that the people in the middle are the fools, right?

Yep!

Millionaires understand how to have money made for them, it is called leverage, they are in the position of service, offering a product, service, opportunity, leadership or any combination of these and they marriages abroad paid by the same society that pays the people that we see to be sponging.

Do I endorse Welfare or Social Assistance, yes I do. I endorse it when the person in receipt of it does not have the means to provide for themselves. Everybody else that is on it just needs to understand that they are meant for greatness. They should wake-up to that fact by taking action in their life, setting some goals (start with very small attainable goals) as I suggest in this article I also wrote: http://ezinearticles.com/?Success-Is-Attained-By-Focusing-On-Your-Goals—Simple-Guidelines-Revealed-Here&id=259438 then going for and attaining them, is what they are meant to accomplish in life.

I also believe that people working in a job are actually not in a much better place. They are dependant on a pay check every couple of weeks, most are unhappy (I understand it to be 90 percent) and as a result, they do not put in 100% to their job. Anything less than 100% means they are getting compensated for something that they did not do.

So here it is, make money, discover and then do something you are genuinely happy doing. Yes, it may start off uncomfortable; you may have to fight for it, but is your happiness and your greatness not worth fighting and taking risks for? Failure is always an option, just as I wrote in this article: http://www.ezinearticles.com/?Failure-Is-An-Option!&id=233194 take some time to assess your choices, there is always a choice.

We are all meant for greatness, we are all meant to make money and yes, it is easy.

If you have faith in yourself and do something that you love to do, it will never be a job; it will be the foundation to your life and a legacy for the future.

Now all you have to do is figure out what you are meant to do and obviously you are close, or you would not be reading this article. If you need a hand to learn how to make money, give me a call, I am happy to be of assistance; guiding people to greatness is what I do.
